Academic Record: Obtained 'O' and 'A' Levels from Government Secondary School, Ikom (1973) and Federal Government College, Enugu (1975). Proceeded to obtain a Medical Degree MB.BS at college of Medicine, University of Lagos in 1982.

Experience: Dr. Victor Nkom is the Director and Managing Consultant of Environmental Technologies Support and System Limited. Although his academic background is in Medicine, he has mostly proven to have an entrepreneurial flair for business, and has started and run successful businesses in parts of Africa and the United Kingdom.

Between 1983 and 1987 (both years inclusive) he was the Director of operations at Erlvine Holdings Ltd., Nigeria and from 1988 to 1994, he simultaneously held the posts of CEO at Twilight Records Ltd., and director at both Promexport (UK) Ltd. and Congress Woods (UK) Ltd., both international trade and project development outfits, based in the United Kingdom (UK).

In 1993 he pioneered the formation of an environmental company – Environmental Safety Systems in London under the able Chairmanship of the Rt, Hon. MP Barry Porter (Chairman, House Committee on Environment). By 1997, he rose to become the Director in charge of Foreign Business Development. In 1999, he set up a Project Development Consultancy Company with a view to providing project Development and Financial Engineering Services for African Companies operating in exchange control regulated economies.

In 2001, his company, Sustainable Living Investment UK – T/A Sustainable Living consultants was appointed Project Developments consultant for the Brass Export Oriented Private Refinery. Dr. Victor Nkom is the Director and Managing Director Consultant of VOK Services - Indoor Networks Design and Installation Company.

Since 2004, he has established a presence in the Nigerian Business environment, providing Public Affairs consultancy services and advice to investors on the Nigerian Business environment and culture.

With over Twenty-Five years in Corporate Leadership and management, his strongest attributes are knack for detail and a passion for breaking new ground in any chosen endeavour.
